Upgrades · Houston
Upgrades for Houston PCs and laptops when a faster drive or more memory is cheaper than a new machine.
A five-year-old PC with a spinning drive feels broken. A brand-new laptop with 8 GB of RAM can feel the same. Buying first and asking later is how people replace a machine that only needed a $60 SSD.
1. Check the machine
Age, drive health, memory ceiling, and whether Windows is even worth keeping.
2. Upgrade or replace
We price the parts against a new computer so you are not paying to revive a dead platform.
3. Move the work
Files, email, and the two or three programs you actually use come across. The rest stays behind.
It helps most machines that still have a hard drive. It will not save a CPU or a laptop that cannot take a modern Windows install.
Parts and installs are handled in the Houston service area. We do not publish a parts storefront — the upgrade is scoped to your machine.
