Houston homes and small offices, and the surrounding service area

Virus & Malware Removal · Houston

Get the malware off. Keep the files when we can.

Virus removal for Houston computers — not a scare sale, and not a wipe unless that is the only safe option.

The problem this solves

A computer that slams pop-ups, redirects every search, or locks files is not “just slow.” Random antivirus downloads and password resets on the same infected machine often leave the back door open.

What is included

What we clean

  • Viruses, trojans, adware, and browser hijacks
  • Fake antivirus, tech-support scareware, and leftover scheduled tasks
  • Startup junk and the accounts or extensions that keep putting it back
  • A plain-language note on passwords to change after cleanup

Who it is for

  • Someone who clicked a pop-up and now cannot use the browser
  • A small office that got a ransomware scare and needs a calm next step
  • Anyone who wants the machine cleaned without losing family photos if we can avoid it

How it works

  1. 1. Contain

We stop the obvious damage, disconnect what should not stay online, and check whether files are still readable.

  2. 2. Remove

We clean the infection and the leftovers. If a clean Windows install is safer, we say that before we do it.

  3. 3. Harden

You leave with updates, a real antivirus path, and the two or three habits that stop the same mess next month.

Questions we hear first

Will you delete my files to remove a virus?+

Only if the system cannot be trusted otherwise, and we say so first. The default is clean the infection and keep the documents.

Is this the same as a factory reset?+

No. A reset is one option after we see how deep the infection is. Many machines can be cleaned without starting over.

Most cleanup starts remotely. Onsite or pickup in Houston is used when the machine will not stay online or files have to come off a failing drive.

Next step

Tell us what the computer is doing — or not doing

Use the short form. If this is an active outage, say so. Existing clients should use Client Support.
